Back in elementary school days, I had the good luck to read a reprint (by I.W. -- Israel Waldman -- of Issue #1, and was chilled by it;. With the advent of Amazon & Kindle I can now re-read that issue, plus the other 2 originally published by Magazine Enterprises. I have waited a very long time for this. Very helpful book!

I thought it was a good book. Most up to date book I could find and it was helpful. The practice questions were probably the best part, plus I found more online. The best way to do well is practice questions in my opinion. This book had a lot so I give it a good review. I would recommend to everyone.

The best part of the book is the practice test questions and that it has been updated for 2015-2016. The subject material was VERY relevant to the exam I took. Lots of questions on nursing process and legislation. Because I am an RN and many of the questions are social work based it isn't just 'all common sense' as CCM org likes to espouse. Don't waste money on other books this is concise, not boring as three others I used. Ive recommended this book to colleagues who are looking to pass the first time around.

Very good book. Concise and thorough. The 200 questions included, extremely helpful. Should it be the only tool to review for Certification test? I,d said no. I you have time, read other material, flash cards, etc. (Case Management is too broad) However, if you ate short on time, this is, probably the best tool.

This book is very helpful. I did pretty good on my first try but did not do well on the last section of the test, health and safety. So, I am hoping that this book will help me increase my score in the other sections as well. I think it should be divided up more into the sections like DESE but, I think it will do.

Great study tool! But I would suggest using other materials as well as this to get a 5!

I took AP environmental science about a year ago and this book helped me get a five!
AP Environmental Science is (in my opinion) the hardest AP sciences because unlike chemistry, biology, or physics, environmental science encompasses everything that isn't chemistry, biology, or physics. That's a lot of material to learn over a short period of time! I used this book in addition to the AP Edition of Living in the Environment. For me the text book was good for learning about the subject while the Barron's book was easy to carry and use as an overview of the material. I also used it when I went on vacation before the exam and it was super helpful because it was easy to carry on and off the plain and it was good to use as a refresher to remember and review the material before the exam. I also liked how there were lots of space to write notes in the margins and the diagrams were also helpful.

I'm undecided on whether I would recommend this book to someone who was only taking the exam. I thought there was a lot of information in the book but it was more of an overview. To do well on the exam, you need to know a lot about all the different areas and have a true understanding of all of them. To do well on the test and only use this book, you'd need to read about all of the different subjects and use other materials like the ones from college board.

But overall, I would recommend this book to help taking an AP Environmental Science class and test. I actually gave my copy of my book to a friend who was a year younger than me. I also bought this book for my sister who's taking the class this year. She's already started using this book for her very long summer assignment and she's said that it has helped her already!

Great book! Could easily be used to teach this course inside of a classroom. However I find it is actually more detailed then the actual test will be. The practice tests as far as multiple choice are great, however I would advise getting short answer practice off of the College Board Website.

I really enjoyed reading this delightful autobiography about the author's life as a boy growing up in the 1940s and 50s in rural Tennessee, continuing on through his adult life. The author relates some hilarious antics he and his friends would pull off as kids. It also delves into the author's strong faith in God and how this faith got him through some very tough times in his adult life. In reading this book I am reminded that we as christians need to remember that we are not guaranteed an easy path in this world but we are guaranteed guidance if we seek it.

Highest recommendation for a pulp magazine reprint from 1934 in book form

I just received my new print-on-demand Black Mask Pulp Story Reader #5 from Amazon and am very pleased. The book reprints the fiction content of a pulp magazine, Terror Tales, dated September 1934. It is a horror story group of 6 stories. The book is slightly smaller in dimensions (w x l) than the pulp reproductions from Adventure House, but in no way is inferior. The ads are not reproduced. The interior illos are reproduced in smaller fashion. The book used very good quality paper. Print size in good. In a quick scan I saw no glaring printing errors. The cover reproduction is very good but not quite up to standard of the other one I just reviewed(#2 in series, Strange Detective Mysteries). 4 of 6 authors represented here are among the top-line Popular Publications authors. Pages 5 through 205. Although authors are not identified on table of contents the back cover lists title/author/blurb story description for each story. There are 10 released in this series to date, 2 of which are horror and the others of other genre such as detective, western, etc. Unqualified recommendation. Priced very attractively at $9.
