About the Author
Chris Robertson is a writer, illustrator, and animation storyboard artist living in California, with his wife, Stephanie, and their two sons, Carter and Benton. Chris first attended school at Lassen Elementary in the San Fernando Valley, where he was introduced to Curious George, Madeline, and Harry the Dirty Dog by the Bookmobile. Chris could tell, even at an early age, that children's books were going to be an important part of his life. This is his first children's book.

Entertaining

If I had to sum this collection up in a single word, I'd call it fun. It's a nice mix of themes and stories that any horror fan would smile at, with the odd truly creepy story thrown in for good measure. Some of the stories are written with more enthusiasm than skill, but others are beautifully described (in particular Lily's Grave - a simple, short and unexpected story which proves brutally effective, and Roulette, where a vampire meets his match) and overall, the ideas are different enough to be memorable.
A killer skull with a sucker for symmetry is one of my favourite protagonists, as is a man whose whole town has gone 'sour' and a woman who's rather touchy about her smoking habit. In addition, you've got a spirit roaming the world in search of a blood tribute, a lady who gets into a spot of bother with a werewolf and an opportunistic shark expert to keep things interesting.
Despite preferring psychological horror to the more explicit horror that this collection tends to rely on, I was entertained till the end. I'd hazard a guess that if you're reading this review, then you will be, too! Enjoy.

Well Worth the Price!!!

This is a great anthology. I have a short attention span and these stories are perfect. Except for maybe 3 of them, i enjoyed this book immensely. Hoping for a 3rd.

Some stories are better than others if course, but all in all the book is a very good and entertaining read, the stories are imaginative and the plots are varied and mostly unpredictable.
